NORMAN REGIONAL HEALTHPLEX
Norman Regional’s new flagship campus puts healing first, with a nature-inspired, patient-centered design. Interiors - and art - draw on the brand’s colors and the surrounding landscape, creating light-filled, restorative spaces like the Healing Garden to support patients, families, and caregivers.
Art Direction
-
Artwork that supports the brand’s message (healing and hope) + overall look/feel (calming palette of purple + blue).
-
Sculpture that incorporates organic forms.
-
Art solutions that respect the building design’s grand scale (high ceilings, curving walls, etc)
Healing Garden
Specified and commissioned over 1,000 hand-formed raku ceramic bowls and discs by artist Natalya Seva, and guided the installation for the Healing Garden - a space for reflection and respite for staff and patients.
